Shop History

Autoworks’ owner George Rushlow wants to make it a little easier for you to receive both excellence and convenience in auto repair. That’s why he opened Autoworks at 987 Dryden Road nearly five years ago in fall 2001. George is a professional with countless hours and experience. He graduated with honors from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 1991 and received the Craftsman Award. He then gained twelve years of manufacturer-based training on Honda and Acura vehicles while employed at a Honda dealership.

Our Staff

We employ only the best. Each of our technicians is either ASE certified, or is in the process of gaining that certification and training. What does this mean for you? It means that you can be certain that your vehicle is being taken care of by someone that has put a great deal of time and effort into learning and making sure that they are up to date on the latest automotive maintenance knowledge and techniques. Our technicians all have specialties as well. Some are Honda and Acura experts, others Ford or Mopar. Some of our technicians have specialized training in air conditioning, brakes, suspension, alignment, and engine performance.

Stop on by either location and meet Richie, Sean, Dale, George, Chris, Karyn, Ben, Hilary, Jack, Bob, Kirk, Wayne, or Bob. These guys will treat your car as though it were their own!

Dale is a Master Truck Technician familiar with DOT regulations.
